It’s that time of year again where Touhou fans in Japan gather to get the world’s first glimpse at some of the newest things to hit the Touhou scene: Reitaisai!
This means a couple of things. First, Touhou 13.5 has been officially released. I’m sure people have probably made it available in various locations, but I for one aim to get a physical copy of it, whether that takes weeks or months to do.
Second, fan circles are undoubtedly making new music available for the first time today, and in the coming months, it’s possible that some new music may also be hitting the station. Since Auritribe ultimately manages the music library, it’s tough for me to say how far out that might be.
Third, our Facebook Fan group hit 3000 fans recently, and that’s a pretty big number! That’s more likes than our website and Steam group members combined! Where are all of those other people at if they’re not a member on the site or the Steam group? Who knows…
Last but not least, Gensokyo Radio Live #9 will be playing on Friday, June 7th, 2013 at 7pm EDT / 4pm PDT. We’ll definitely be making this a special show for certain, perhaps obvious reasons. We’ll also be welcoming back Sean Chiplock aka Sonicmega to the live show, where he’s sure to have a few more surprise events planned for all of us. Don’t miss it!
