This week, we sat down to chat with our community during Meetup #21 and changed up a key aspect of our ongoing Parade of CDs series. For more details, read on.
Meetup #21 brought on Lunar and DMJ to talk about current station activities in-depth and field some questions from community members. Some topics included community outreach, booth prep status, and the question of whether we’re throwing an after-party at TouhouFest in April. If you missed out, we’ll have this Meetup episode and previous events available as soon as we’re able to.
On the subject of time, we’re currently under a time squeeze and have been for the past two months. As many will have noticed, there’s currently a backlog of events we need to work through before they’re published as podcasts, with additional episodes missing episode artwork. This is purely a matter of time and priorities. While we’re balancing prep work for our guest appearance and the ongoing Parade of CDs series, multiple staff members have things ongoing in their own lives that take precedence. This majorly prevents us from completing certain station-related work in a timely manner. Rest assured that we are aware of this and will get back to it when we’re able.
Finally, our Parade of CDs series continues with a shift in focus for featured albums. As we cross the four-week mark for this series, we’ll be sharing albums our station plays in addition to the occasional album available through our store. Like before, the focus is to showcase the craft rather than just share store albums. This shift will further reinforce that idea, plus this gives us an opportunity to feature albums from our Top 100 lists and other unique design aspects.
