GR Live #109 & More New Music

This week, we had our 109th episode of Gensokyo Radio Live where we brought along some thematic music and talked about Autumn Reitaisai just a couple hours before the event itself was to open. We highlighted many of the artists and circles that would be in attendance, similar to what we’ve done in the past during our “Comiket watch” series.

We also talked about the release of the newest official game, “Touhou Gouyoku Ibun”. After production delays, a limited quantity of physical copies was available for event attendees on October 24th (JP time). As of writing, the Steam page has not yet been updated with a new release date.

We have more new music now available on the station from the following new and existing circles:

  • Alstroemeria Records
  • Amateras Records
  • CielArc
  • IOSYS
  • Genso Storage (new)
  • Hatsunetsumiko’s
  • Kuroneko Lounge (new)
  • Mahotoa (new)
  • Pearls Before Swine

Our most recent Stage event (#5) will be available in the next 48 hours. If you missed out last weekend, you’ll be able to find it and past Stage events (and Live broadcasts) by visiting our website and clicking on the “Shows” tab.

As a sidenote, we’re aware that some folks who have marked themselves as “interested” in Discord have not been receiving event reminders, and consequently have been missing out. Make sure your notification settings for this server aren’t interfering. Some folks who have experienced issues noted they had “suppress (at)here and (at)everyone” selected, but your results may vary. As events are still relatively new in Discord, we hope notification settings are made more clear in a future update.

Finally, we’d like to remind folks that as we get closer to the end of the year, listener-submitted ratings are important for helping us determine what the Top 100 songs of 2021 will be. We’ll mention this a few more times before the year is out, but get those ratings in now while there’s a comfortable amount of time remaining to do so.

Thanks for your participation during our recent events, and thanks for listening!
