Album/Track Data Update & Meetup Podcasts on YouTube

This week, we updated the majority of albums listed on our website to include more information about each album and its tracks. This update includes the following features:

For Albums:

  • Release Date (replaces year)
  • Release Event

For Tracks:

  • Original Composition Title
  • Arranger
  • Vocalist
  • Lyricist

For albums that have not been updated or newly added albums which have yet to be updated, these will display the year and artist from associated metadata, the same as it was prior to this update.

The track list UI has also been updated to better incorporate new information. Each track title is now highlighted, original titles and legacy artist listings are written in larger font, and new information about the arranger, vocalist, and lyricist is made available in the original size font.

This past weekend, we ran two events back-to-back, with Gensokyo Radio Live #118 on Saturday evening, and Meetup #14 on Sunday afternoon (US time). If you missed either event or want to listen to them again, they’ll be published in podcast form in about a week.

Finally, we’re publishing our Meetup podcasts to Gensokyo Radio’s YouTube channel once per week every week until we’re caught up (so about 3-4 months from now). This is just another way to listen to this program, next to the other podcast platforms we’re already listed on. If there’s another platform where you’d like to see our podcasts listed, let one of our staff members know and we’ll see what we can do!

Thanks for tuning in this week, it was a busy weekend with our events, but we got through it. As always, thanks for listening!
