Take a look at Silver Forest’s site and you’ll see a link to this page. It’s entirely in Japanese, but it’s an announcement that due to vocalist Sayuri’s poor health, the circle Silver Forest is disbanding. They’ll officially be disbanded at the end of this month.
Silver Forest has been making music since 2006. They will be releasing two Best of Silver Forest CDs along with other things at Reitaisai less than a week from this announcement.
Best wishes go out to Sayuri in recovery, and to the rest of the team that made up Silver Forest.

That sucks. I just started listening to their music more a while ago. I hope Sayuri will recover.

Poor Sayuri! I hope she recovers! I will miss Silver Forest. They are one of the best touhou arrangers out there.

Are there any news about Sayuri? And… aren’t they actually back? I saw that at C84 there was a CD named “Thousand Mirage” and the artist was Platinum Crest, powered by Silver Forest >< So I’m a little confused…
