The migration to our new streaming server is complete! The stream was down from 4:00pm (CST) to 4:03pm. Our flash media player on the site page was available again at 4:11pm. The “Now Playing” display on the site was up again at 4:23pm. Various stream monitoring scripts were back up around 4:30pm. Overall, the transition was smooth and went well.
Those who had previously used a .pls file to connect to the stream may need to re-download it from the link above, next to the media player.
Listener count will probably be slightly lower until people figure things out. We’re still listed in the Shoutcast directory and everything, it’s just a new server. The stream will experience better overall stability, as well as having the ability to support about twice as many listeners as before.
