A surprise show has appeared!
During the transition to GSR5 this week, we’ll be assuming direct control over the station to bring you a preview of some of the new music that’s coming to the regular lineup. While this is going on, systems will be transitioning to the new system which, at its core, is more than just a new look for the site. The systems that run behind the site have been completely rewritten from the ground up, and it will indeed take some time to completely migrate everything. It’s tough to say exactly how long this process will take. We estimate somewhere around two hours, but it could be more or less than that.
This show will run from the start of migration until completion, so it will have an ambiguous run time. In general, we’re trying to do this when it’s not peak time for the station, so it’s likely that the start time will seem odd to you.
We’ll begin the operation on February 28th, 2013 @ 11pm EST, or March 1st, 2013 at 4am UTC. Again, times will likely seem odd, but if you’re a night owl, having trouble sleeping, or maybe you’re just on the other side of the world and haven’t listened to a live show yet, feel free to stop by our Steam chat room.
